hitting the mark
It's the top mark, the big goal. There are a number of reasons I do this work, a number of things that keep me going. A five-star review is one of them.
Being a professional artist is not a role I take lightly. And like most other jobs, it has its challenges. One could even go so far as to say there are days I rethink my line of work. But ultimately, the passion outpaces the problems, and the good outweighs the bad.
And often, there are moments that remind me how rewarding this work can be. Those usually involve you. The person consuming the content, interacting with the updates, and buying the work. The feedback I receive from you is part of my creative fuel to keep going.
I cannot overstate the importance of your review. I often try to emphasize what the response, any response means to my work. Reading that my work inspires someone, that a tutorial I created helped someone, or that someone is happy with their handmade item. The feeling of accomplishment at hearing from a satisfied customer, or better still, receiving a 5-star review. That is a unique, happy pinnacle of validation that helps justify the effort and energy poured into the work. Even the not-so-great (but constructive) feedback is welcome, because it helps me to grow and improve.
So if you take the time to like, comment, or even leave a review sharing your experience with my store or my social platforms, it does not go unnoticed. It's received with heartfelt appreciation from me. Sometimes a big grin, a little jump for joy. You get the picture. It inspires me. And as always, I hope to inspire you.
