Created from a pulp of shredded and soaked salvaged paper, and finished in dark gray acrylic and brilliant gold leafing, painstakingly applied to create a distressed, antique appearance.

Created from a papier mache pulp of newspaper, junk mail, and other recyclable paper, this piece is lightweight, yet hard and sturdy. Treated with several coats of sealant, keep exposure to moisture to a minimum. Wipe clean with a damp cloth, use no cleaning agents.

Recycling and conservation is important to me. Unless otherwise indicated, ALL of my papier mache items are made from recycled paper and other reclaimed materials, not preshredded storebought mache.
